Saxophonist Tim Ries (The Rolling Stones) joins vocalist Fem Belling (Cats: The Musical) for a night celebrating the music of composer and lyricist extraordinaire Irving Berlin.
Tim and Fem have been dreaming up this Berlin collaboration for nearly 3 years. During his 60-year career Irving Berlin wrote an estimated 1,500 songs, including the scores for 20 original Broadway shows and 15 original Hollywood films, with his songs nominated eight times for Academy Awards. There are a host of well known tunes of course, but Tim and Fem will revisit so many “forgotten” melodies. A night of tender familial ties and a love of Berlin’s bounty of music. See you there.
